Twenty year old Whyalla man Dylan Wayne Pedler was recently found guilty by a jury to the charge of aggravated driving without due care and sentenced for his part in an illegal drag race which led to a crash in 2010.

In his sentencing remarks Judge Beazley said Siviour had suffered "devastating injuries".
Pedler was travelling at 89 kilometres per hour and failed to notice Siviour's vehicle, which he crashed into.
The maximum penalty for the charge is 12 months' imprisonment, Pedler was handed an eight months' suspended sentence and a three year good behaviour bond.
