Rock City Posters: Local artist Scot Roller will open this retail upstairs and studio downstairs spot in May. The store will sell music gig posters from Roller and other artists. The location is 1256 S. Virginia St., is across from Junkee Clothing Exchange.
"Right now we're still in initial stages," Reno City Councilwoman Hillary Schieve said Thursday. "We're doing workshops so citizens can be engaged and have input. It's a long term plan, it takes time."
Double Edge Fitness: Three Reno entrepreneurs opened this gym earlier this year at 1065 S. Virginia St., in the site of a former adult entertainment store. The 14,000 square foot space offers exercise machines, free weights and personal training services.
