Three young Whyalla boxers have walked away with gold after competing in the Boxing SA State Championships over the weekend.
"I was nervous but confident going in and managed to walk away with a gold medal," Moore said.
"I'm looking forward to getting gold this time," Shea said.
Shea said this will be his fourth time heading to nationals, where last year, he took home a silver medal.
After a count back, Shea was able to claim the win though, 35 points to 31 points.
At just 12 years old, Riley Moore has already built a reputation for himself as a solid competitor, with two opponents choosing not to take their chances against him in the ring.

The weekend tournament saw amateur boxers from across the state meet in Adelaide, to determine who would take out the state titles in the various categories.
The win was Shea's fourth state title and will now see him progress to the open division in the national titles, in February next year.
Competing in the schoolboy 45 kilogram weight division, it was only Moore's second ever fight, but he took out the gold with just the one fight, unopposed.
